Starfish is de band die je het hele jaar door een zomers gevoel geeft, waar je ook bent. Deze 4 vrienden uit Noord-Holland maken een onweerstaanbare mix van reggae, pop en surfrock die je doet denken aan een tropisch paradijs. Met optredens op veel festivals en podia in Nederland en daarbuiten hebben ze een manier gevonden om overal een feestje te bouwen. Met hun pakkende nummers, vrolijke melodieën en energieke optredens krijgt Starfish iedereen op de dansvloer.

Enkele van de festivals waar Starfish heeft gespeeld zijn: Zwarte Cross, MadNes Festival & Dicky Woodstock. Ze hebben ook opgetreden in Patronaat, Paradiso en Melkweg en hebben getoerd door Italië, Zwitserland, Duitsland, Frankrijk, België, Bonaire en Curaçao. Starfish heeft opgetreden naast bekende namen zoals Will and the People, Sticky Fingers, Jack and the Weatherman en Gold Kimono. In 2016 werd hun single ‘No Rasta’ gedraaid op de nationale radiozender 3FM en behaalde meer dan 1 miljoen streams op Spotify.

In april 2023 brachten ze hun debuutalbum “Sunrise” uit, dat ze samen met producer Jasper Zuidervaart (Chef’Special, Jeangu Macrooy) hebben gemaakt. Het album staat vol met zonnige hits zoals “Sunburn,” “Voodoo” en “Poolparty,” en co-writing met Jack and the Weatherman en Martijn Konijnenburg (Gold Kimono). Ze vierden de album release met een spectaculaire uitverkochte show in Patronaat.

2024 markeert het 10-jarig jubileum van de band en dat willen ze niet onopgemerkt voorbij laten gaan. De band zal 3 singles uitbrengen (in februari, zomer en herfst) en heeft een show in Paradiso aangekondigd, evenals meerdere festivaloptredens. Dus pak je zonnebril, zonnebrandcrème en je slippers en ga mee op een tropisch feest met Starfish!

Starfish is the band that gives you a summer feeling all year round, wherever you are. These 4 friends from North Holland make an irresistible mix of reggae, pop and surf rock that reminds you of a tropical paradise. Playing at many festivals and venues in the Netherlands and abroad, they found a way to create a party everywhere. With their catchy songs, cheerful melodies and energetic performance, Starfish gets everyone up on their feet.
